Events in one’s lifetime endured
compiled and stored in mind
reflect as to what one becomes
successful or declined

whereby grace in which one might live
encourages more growth
putting God’s principles to work
His favor He will show

for scripture tells of God’s great plan
how man should live on earth
preparing for the life beyond
a life of valued worth

where there shall be many rewards
only one can surmise
the beauty of the world to come
the gifts from Jesus Christ
____
but God detests the lukewarm saint
who will not serve his King
He’d rather have one cold or hot
His word does state this thing

if one is not salty enough
what good is that to God
salt that has lost all its flavor
is thrown down under trod
____
the Lord is now calling His church
to a more holy life
involving each one born of God
to walk more in His light
